Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of locksmith services provided by Ziegler Locks ("Business," "we," "us," or "our") to you ("Client," "you," or "your"). By requesting or accepting our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Travel Fee and Dispatch Agreement

A Travel Fee will be calculated based on the one-way distance from the Business's office (Hartney, MB) to the Client's location and is due immediately upon confirmation of dispatch for any service request. This fee covers the initial travel expense and is non-refundable regardless of whether the requested job is ultimately completed, cancelled upon arrival, or refused by the Client.

The Travel Fee is separate from, and in addition to, all final service and labor charges. Travel and after-hours fees are due upon arrival and are non-refundable.

2. Authority to Order Service and Indemnification

The Client represents and warrants that they are the legal owner of the property or vehicle, or have obtained the express written consent, lease agreement, or other legally binding documentation required to order locksmith services for the requested location or item.

The Client further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Business (Ziegler Locks), its agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from any breach of this warranty or any claim by a third party that the Business performed services without proper authorization.

3. Pre-Existing Damage and Limitation of Liability

The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Business (Ziegler Locks) is responsible only for damages directly and solely caused by the negligent execution of its own work and services.

The Business shall not be held liable for any damage, deficiencies, defects, or issues existing on the property or premises prior to the commencement of the job, including but not limited to:

• Damage to walls, paint, or flooring
• Existing fixtures or wiring
• Door locks or door jams
• Surrounding structural elements

By accepting these Terms, the Client confirms that the Business is entering the site under the assumption that the Client has informed the Business of any known pre-existing conditions that may affect the work, and the Business's liability is strictly limited to the quality of the specific services and materials provided by the Business.

4. No Refunds

Services completed as described are not subject to refunds. The Client will not be reimbursed for services cancelled once work has begun. All sales are final.

5. Invoices and Payment

The Business will invoice the Client upon the completion of the job, unless otherwise noted in the Payment Schedule. The Client agrees to pay all invoices by the due date(s) specified.

If an invoice remains unpaid 30 days following the specified due date, the Business reserves the right to initiate legal action to recover the outstanding balance.

6. Payment Methods

Payment shall be remitted to the Business using one of the following methods:

• Cash
• Valid credit or debit card
• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
• Any other payment method expressly authorized by the Business

7. Authority to Accept Terms

By requesting services from Ziegler Locks, the Client represents that they have the authority to enter into these Terms and to perform all obligations under these Terms.

8. Service Area

Our services are available in Hartney, Manitoba and the surrounding Westman Area. Travel fees apply based on distance from our office location.

9. Modifications to Terms

Ziegler Locks reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
